A good site on Arad. It's a great city--I spent some time there in 1995. I remember people out on a Sunday evening near the fortress, people were drinking draft beer. It was like a carnival.

I enjoyed the History of Arad very much. My father was born in the village of Szapary-Liget (now Tipar) July 20, 1894. Name of Sandor Oz. He emigrated to United States of America in 1913, married and raised a family. God Bless All

Felicitari! Ati facut o treaba minunata. Locuiesc la New York si sint plecat din Arad din 1985. Mi-am schimbat numele din Gheorghe Pacurar in Sinclair. Am fost pe acasa de 4 ori dar pentru inmormintari si parastase. Prima data, cu vreo 6 ani in urma l-am intilnit pe Cristi Moisescu, care era primar pe vremea aceea. Anul trecut am fost la meci la UTA... Multe lucruri bune s-au intimplat si sper ca vor con inua sa se intimple. Am prieteni foarte dragi in Arad si mai am si rude. Va doresc multa sanatate si urari de bine in ceea ce ati inceput sa faceti. Lumea a devenit un loc mai mic! E loc pentru toti. Ma refer la faptul ca in urma cu nu multi ani ma simteam ca fiind pe o alta planeta in New York, iar legatura prin telefon era asa si asa. Acum lumea calatoreste mai usor, comunica prin Internet si simt c sintem mai apropiati. Poate gresesc. Multe salutari si il imbratisez pe Cristi! Titi Pacurar
